ADM NEWS | Department of Municipalities and Transport affirms readiness to respond to expected weather conditions across Abu Dhabi emirate
The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has raised the level of its readiness to manage the weather conditions expected to affect the UAE between 21 and 27 March 2026.
The Department’s preparations include activating the Emergency Operations Centres in Abu Dhabi City Municipality, AL Ain City Municipality, and Al Dhafra Municipality to respond to all incoming reports around the clock. Additionally, teams comprising engineers, observers, and supervisors, and assistant technicians have been deployed along with heavy equipment and specialised vehicles.
The Department noted that compliance with these directives will contribute to the success of the efforts of the emergency response teams.
