From captivating kids’ activities and immersive art workshops to refined afternoon teas and global dining experiences, the celebrations pay homage to Emirati traditions while offering a welcoming embrace to all communities.

Grand Dome Activities
From 29 November to 3 December, the Grand Dome becomes the vibrant beating heart of the Palace with a unique designed Emirati heritage programme, sure to surprise and delight. One of the highlights of the grand dome activities include a traditional Al Ayala Dance, taking place from 4 to 10pm on the 2nd December. A range of other children’s activities will also feature throughout the day including Arabic calligraphy, pottery workshops, mascot appearances, a visit from Alex and the Falcon, a henna station and more.
Fireworks Show
On the 2nd December, the UAE’s National Day, a dazzling fireworks display will light up the skies. Starting from 9.15pm, this spectacle is perfect for friends and families alike to gather under the stars and celebrate the nation.

Palatial Illumination
Emirates Palace, Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi will be transformed through a captivating palatial illumination that will take place from the 30 November to 4 December. From sunset each evening, the façade will shift to a a kaleidoscope of colours and patterns to pay homage to the nation.
Cultural Experiences at Kids Palace
A world of creativity and discovery awaits at Kids Palace, where little fans and families can experience the traditions of the UAE through play, art and storytelling.
Eid Al Etihad Carnival
Guests are invited to immerse themselves in the spirit of the nation with the Eid Al Etihad carnival. They can experience the excitement of thrilling inflatable games, test their skills in basketball challenges and embrace tradition with camel rides. Little fans can bounce with delight on the bouncy castle, families can unwind under the stars with a movie night and everyone can take part in a lucky draw. The carnival is priced at AED 54 per person to participate, taking place on November 29 from 3-9pm.
Kids Village
Set within the lush Palace grounds, Kids Village offers a joyful space filled with camel rides, outdoor movies and creative stations. A drumming circle closes each day with rhythm and laughter in what will be a family celebration of the UAE’s warmth and vitality. Open from 29 November to 3 December, 9am to 7pm, priced at AED 320.
Local Artist Workshop with Rowaya Al Ghfeli
Little fans can unleash their creativity at Kids Palace with a hands-on art workshop led by local artist Rowaya Al Ghfeli, featuring artwork inspired by the rich culture and heritage of the UAE. Workshop is AED 150 per person and takes place from 1–3pm on 2nd December.

Eid Al Etihad at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental unfolds as a sensory journey across its award-winning restaurants, with each reimagining the celebration through its own lens of flavour, craftsmanship and setting. From seaside feasts and curated teas to refined dining by Michelin-starred chefs, the Palace captures the joy of togetherness and authentic Emirati hospitality.
Sand & Koal
On 2 December, from 5pm to 1am in the lounge and 6 to 11pm in the restaurant, Sand & Koal sets the stage for a remarkable evening by the sea. Live percussionists, fire dancers and a dazzling fireworks display bring energy to the shoreline as guests savour flame-grilled seafood and signature dishes in a setting where fire and water meet. Minimum spend AED 350 per person for Gazebo Dining Tables, AED 300 per person in the Lounge, with private gazebos and elevated platforms available from AED 10,000 for those seeking exclusivity under the stars.

Episodes
Starting from 23 November to 4 December, Chef Alexandre Thabard unveils a limited-edition collection of pastries that pay homage to Emirati culture. Available from 10am to 11pm daily, each creation is inspired by local ingredients and reinterpreted through contemporary technique.
From 27 November to 3 December, Episodes invites guests to experience an elevated take on the classic afternoon tea, where Emirati delicacies meet delicate patisserie. Served between 2 and 6pm daily, the menu combines tradition and artistry, complemented by an aromatic tea selection and celebratory touches. The afternoon tea is priced at AED 285 per person.
From 10am to 11pm each day, guests can extend the celebrations beyond the Palace with beautifully curated hampers by Episodes. Starting from AED 300, each hamper is filled with locally sourced treats and signature sweets inspired by Emirati flavours — an elegant gesture for gifting or enjoying at home.

Picnic by the Garden
Enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea in a serene garden setting, reimagined as an elegant Emirati picnic. Priced at AED 350 per person, the experience includes traditional pastries, aromatic teas and delicate savouries, available from 1 to 3 December, 2 to 7pm.
Cabana at the Mandarin Beach
From 1 to 3 December, Cascades’ Eid Al Etihad Cabana Dinner sets the scene for an unforgettable evening under the stars. Within a private cabana priced at AED 2,500 for four guests, explore a bespoke menu inspired by Emirati flavours, surrounded by lush palms, flickering lanterns and views of the Gulf beyond. Available from 5 to 7pm.
Café Fountain
Set against the backdrop of tranquil fountains, this refined afternoon tea embodies the UAE’s culinary heritage through locally inspired sweets and savouries. Available from 28 November to 3 December, 3 to 7pm, it’s perfect for a quiet afternoon of connection and reflection, priced at AED 395 for two guests.
Lebanese Terrace
Discover the flavours of the Levant this Eid Al Etihad in a vibrant, family-style celebration filled with music, laughter and live entertainment. Available from 1 to 4 December from 12:30 to 11pm, the experience features sharing-style menus for AED 350 per person, with each dish embodying the warmth of regional hospitality.
Strawfire by Ross Shonhan
On Monday, 2 December, from 6 to 10pm, Strawfire by Ross Shonhan delivers an evening of culinary theatre on its VIP balcony. As fireworks light up the night sky, guests can savour the bold flavours of Far East delicacies from the à la carte menu, prepared with the restaurant’s signature Warayaki cooking technique. With its dramatic open flame and panoramic views of the Abu Dhabi skyline, Strawfire offers a front-row seat to the Eid Al Etihad celebrations in unmistakable style.

Martabaan by Hemant Oberoi
Available from 1 to 3 December, between 12:30 and 10pm, this special four-course dinner will introduce guests to the depth and diversity of Indian cuisine.
