European stock markets closed higher across the board on Tuesday, with the Stoxx 600 index rising 0.56% to 643.20 points and Germany’s DAX index climbing 0.59% to 24,992.37 points.
France’s CAC 40 index also gained, rising 0.28% to 8,363.14 points.
