Gold fell on Thursday, hovering near a one-week low set in the previous session.
Spot gold fell 0.4 percent to $4,060.46 per ounce by 0343 GMT, after dropping to its lowest since 1st July on Wednesday. US gold futures for August delivery were down 0.3 percent at $4,069.80.
Elsewhere, spot silver fell 0.9 percent to $57.77 per ounce, while platinum rose 0.8 percent to $1,591.13 and palladium gained 0.8 percent to $1,223.95.
