Comments, media uploads, and embedded content

When ADM NEWS visitors leave comments, we collect the information provided in the comment form (for example name, email address and the comment text), together with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent for spam detection and moderation. An anonymized hash of your email may be shared with Gravatar to check for a profile image; after approval, your profile picture may be visible with your comment. If you upload images, avoid embedding location data (EXIF GPS), since visitors can download and extract such data. Articles may also include embedded content (videos, images, social posts, etc.); embedded content behaves as if you visited the source site and those third parties may collect data, set cookies, and track interactions.

Cookies and login/session information

ADM NEWS use cookies to improve your experience. If you leave a comment you may opt to save your name, email, and website in cookies for one year. A temporary cookie is set on the login page to check whether your browser accepts cookies and is discarded when you close your browser. Login cookies persist for two days (or two weeks if “Remember Me” is selected); screen preference cookies last one year. Additional non-personal cookies may be set when editing or publishing an article (expiring after one day). You can manage cookie preferences through your browser, noting that disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.

Data sharing, retention, and user rights

ADM NEWS don’t sell personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers (hosting, analytics, spam detection, email delivery) who are contractually required to protect your information. We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations or to protect rights and safety. Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely to recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically. Registered users’ profile information is stored and may be viewed, edited, or deleted by the user (except username changes); administrators may also access and edit these details. You have the right to request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data. Requests should be sent to privacy@admnews.ae; we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

Cross-border transfers, automated checks, and policy updates

Visitor inputs and comments on ADM NEWS may be processed by automated spam detection services. Third-party providers that process data on our behalf may be located inside or outside your country; when data is transferred across borders we take reasonable steps to protect it. We may update this privacy policy from time to time; any revisions will be posted on this page with an updated effective date, and we encourage periodic review.
