ADM NEWS | Five people were killed after a train collided with a pickup truck at a crossing in a rural area of the US state of Mississippi.
The state railway authority said in a statement that the accident occurred when a freight train operated by a company struck a vehicle at a crossing about 72 kilometres northwest of Biloxi, noting that county police have launched an investigation into the incident.
