Ethara, organiser of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, achieved a double milestone, winning the 2025 Formula 1 Promoter of the Year award at the annual F1 Promoter Awards in London, while welcoming a record number of international visitors to Abu Dhabi.
The 2025 edition drew a record crowd of 339,000 across the race week, a 7 per cent jump from 317,000 in 2024. Of these, 231,000 fans, 68 per cent of total attendance, travelled from abroad, reinforcing the event’s status as a bucket-list F1 experience.
The Promoter of the Year award recognises Ethara as the promoter who delivered the best all-around event of the 2025 season and celebrates their work to consistently elevate the Grand Prix and cement its position as a must-visit global sporting destination.
The 2025 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix featured new hospitality concepts, innovative on-site activations, sustainability initiatives, and world-class entertainment from international artists.
The Yas Marina Circuit also provided the dramatic backdrop to a historic three-way title decider, adding sporting excitement to an already exceptional weekend that has set a new benchmark for F1 events globally.
