Aldar launches Saadiyat Grove lifestyle destination, bringing global luxury and new-to-region concepts to Abu Dhabi

Aldar has revealed further masterplan details for Saadiyat Grove, a new experiential luxury retail and fine dining destination in Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Cultural District, that will open in Q4 2026. Framed by three cultural establishments – the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, and the Zayed National Museum, with the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi and teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi in close proximity, Saadiyat Grove will be a one-square-mile destination where every space is inspired by art, culture, and connection.

At the centre of Saadiyat Grove sits a landmark retail destination, where a collection of the world’s most iconic brands will tell their stories, sharing their heritage and envisioning their futures through curated experiences.

Audemars Piguet, Brunello Cucinelli, BVLGARI, Cartier, Chaumet, Dior, FENDI, James Perse, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co, Valentino and Van Cleef & Arpels are among the flagship names anchoring the retail project. His Excellency Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Aldar, said: “Saadiyat Grove is a centrepiece in our strategy to position Saadiyat Island, and Abu Dhabi more broadly, as a premier global destination for culture-led living, tourism, and investment.

It is a place where culture and lifestyle intersect to create a truly differentiated value proposition for residents, visitors, and businesses alike. As the first destination of its kind in the region, Saadiyat Grove is more than a development; it is a strategic enabler of Abu Dhabi’s long-term vision, and a powerful symbol of its commitment to ambition, innovation, and cultural excellence.

” Talal Al Dhiyebi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Aldar, said: “Saadiyat Grove marks a new era for luxury retail in Abu Dhabi. It is a destination purpose-built to stand alongside the world’s great retail addresses, offering a genuinely distinctive experience rooted in Emirati hospitality and set within one of the most compelling cultural environments globally.

We expect Saadiyat Grove to attract visitors from across the world and, in doing so, it will help establish luxury retail as a significant new pillar of Abu Dhabi’s economy.” Saadiyat Grove will create a new standard for customer experience, introducing an elevated journey for guests and residents across the destination.

Inspired by the principles of traditional Emirati hospitality, guests will be welcomed and guided through the destination. Saadiyat Grove will also introduce new-to-market F&B concepts spanning restaurants, cafés, bakeries and other distinctive dining experiences.

Among them is Alain Ducasse Café, the singular experience imagined by Michelin-starred Chef Alain Ducasse. The café will offer chocolate, coffee, ice cream, pastries and desserts, each crafted from the finest ingredients.

The line-up will also feature Monsieur Paul, the Bocuse French brasserie concept featuring a restaurant, café and boutique, alongside Kokoro Handroll Bar and Momofuku, part of the acclaimed restaurant group founded by Chef David Chang in New York City and known for its innovative approach to Asian American cuisine.

Saadiyat Grove will also welcome BEAMS, Japan’s leading culture shop, to the UAE for the first time. Founded in Harajuku, Tokyo in 1976, it curates exclusive fashion and lifestyle products from around the world through a distinctive Japanese lens.

More than a shopping destination, BEAMS bridges Japan and Abu Dhabi through creativity, design, craftsmanship and meaningful experiences. A destination to be explored from day to night, Saadiyat Grove will be home to Abu Dhabi’s first Time Out Market, a curated food and cultural market bringing together the very best of the city under one roof.

Time Out Market will feature a handpicked selection of the city’s leading chefs, restaurateurs and homegrown dining concepts across 16 kitchens, including the region’s first Time Out Café, dedicated beverage concepts and interactive entertainment experiences.

The destination’s offering will be complemented by dining experiences next door at Louvre Residences Abu Dhabi, including Alica Deli, Barrafina, Gymkhana, Le Palais, Magma and Zephyr. Saadiyat Grove will further elevate Abu Dhabi’s retail proposition and unlock significant economic growth opportunities by catalysing private-sector investment, expanding visitor spend, and creating jobs, further bolstering retail as a key engine of Abu Dhabi’s diversified economy.

The destination forms part of a wider cultural ecosystem that includes globally renowned museums, prestigious educational institutions, and a rich calendar of artistic programming, including events such as Saadiyat Nights.

Saadiyat Grove will soon become the social and cultural heart of Saadiyat Island. As part of its mixed-use space, Saadiyat Grove will include immersive venues, a wellness centre and longevity clinic, luxury hotels, residences, and premium office space.

The destination will be home to Saadiyat Forum, a 7,000 sqm space that will bring culture, hospitality and luxury together through a transformable platform shaped by an evolving programme of experiences and collaborations.

The space will also introduce a reimagined cinema experience as part of a wider cultural and social offering. A 2,200sqm executive club connected to the retail environment will combine private offices, boardrooms and member lounges with concierge service and hospitality, offering Abu Dhabi’s business community an exclusive setting to work, host and convene.

Saadiyat Grove will also provide 25,000sqm of premium office space with four Grade A buildings catering to local and international institutions seeking an iconic base for their businesses in Abu Dhabi. This commercial core enjoys direct connectivity to a luxury hotel that extends the working day into a world-class hospitality experience.

It also sits within easy reach of a host of boutique lifestyle and luxury hotels across the wider Cultural District. The destination will also host a 2,000 square metre gym that will be operated by BXR, a London based luxury gym backed by heavy weight boxer Anthony Joshua, marking the brand’s first flagship location in the Middle East.

A wellness centre and longevity clinic will see a new wellness brand entering Abu Dhabi, creating personalised programmes for clients and offering a range of longevity services on site. The residential offering will comprise distinctive communities, such as Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences, Baccarat Residences Saadiyat, and The Arthouse, designed for culture-led urban living with more than 1,000 homes set to be handed over in the coming months.

As Saadiyat Island’s master developer, Aldar is delivering world-class infrastructure, destinations and experiences across one of the world’s leading destinations for culture, luxury living and beachfront lifestyle. It is home to prestigious educational institutions including Cranleigh Abu Dhabi by Aldar, NYU Abu Dhabi, and Berklee Abu Dhabi, alongside leisure destinations like Soul Beach, Mamsha Al Saadiyat, Kai Beach, and the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club.
