At the forefront of this effort was Zayed International Airport (AUH), where operations teams worked around the clock in close coordination and alignment with the Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre — Abu Dhabi (ADCMC) and relevant authorities to safely and progressively resume limited flight operations following a period of disruption.
The coordinated response across Abu Dhabi’s aviation ecosystem reinforces the emirate’s capacity to respond swiftly, decisively, and in coordination during complex operational scenarios. Over the past week, extensive efforts were carried out under strict safety protocols and through deep cross-sector collaboration between stakeholders across the aviation, hospitality and transport sectors to safeguard operational continuity while maintaining the highest standards of care and support for passengers.
