From under this shady spot, which is located 30 kilometers east of the city of Al Ain, the son of the Emirates, Sultan Al Neyadi, came out with a dream that crossed the borders of the earth.
The name given by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, to this spot when he visited it in 1978.
Here the hero of the story, the astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi, grew up on the stories of Zayed’s ambition and thought, and with the determination of the son of the Emirates, he carried Zayed’s impact from the promise of comfort to space, and charted the road from Umm Ghafa to the International Space Station, to write today a new story on the space page, entitled Emirates and its name “Zayed’s Ambition 2”.
