Qasr Al Hosn
A Day in The Palace Exhibition at Qasr Al Hosn
This exhibition focuses on the everyday lives of people at the palace. Through oral history accounts, historical documents, and photographs, ‘A Day in the Palace’ takes the visitor through a typical day in the 1950’s and 1960’s, following the activities of fictional characters, inspired by historic figures such as residents, guards, and foreign dignitaries.
Over the centuries, Qasr Al Hosn has been home to the ruling family, the seat of the government, a consultative council and a national archive. It now stands as the nation’s living memorial and the narrator of Abu Dhabi’s history.

Qasr Al Muwaiji
Al Barzah Programme
This unique event combines tradition and modernity. It gives participants the chance to discover more about the role of Al Barzah in the history and heritage of the United Arab Emirates, at the birthplace of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
Seating areas in the courtyard of Qasr Al Muwaiji allow participants to spend quality time with family and friends enjoying virtual games, online books, talks and other activities.

Al Dhafra Festival
The 15th edition of Al Dhafra Festival is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
His Highness issued directives to expand the festival to include camel mazayna (beauty contest) competitions in Sweihan, Razeen and Madinat Zayed, in addition to the principal mazayna competition at the Al Dhafra Festival site.
He also ordered the total prize money at the festival to be increased to AED 110 million. The 15th edition of the festival, which coincides with the country’s Year of the 50th celebrations, is set to witness widespread interest and increased participation by camel owners in the UAE and GCC countries.

Al Jahili Fort
Building with Earth Exhibition
The ‘Building with Earth’ exhibition provides visitors an opportunity to learn about the traditional architectural techniques and methods of earthen architecture around the world.
The exhibition showcases the history of earthen building in Abu Dhabi and highlighting the restoration projects that Al Jahili Fort has undergone previously, which culminated in obtaining the TERRA Award for the ‘Best Earthen Architecture’ category in 2016.
Al Jahili Fort, one of the largest forts in the United Arab Emirates, was built in the late 19th century by Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa the First (r. 1855-1909), both as a symbol of power and as a royal summer residence. The original fort consisted of a square fortified enclosure and a distinctive four-storey circular tower.

Liwa Tal Moreeb Festival 2021
Al Liwa Tal Moreeb festival attracts the region’s most powerful four-wheel drives and bikers to face exciting challenges including cars drag race, bikes race, motocross track challenge, camel race, horse race, classic cars competition and Moreeb track for freestyle drifting.
This festival offers a week-long celebration of UAE heritage with competitions and activities including bike riding and camping in the desert of Moreeb Dune. The highlight feature of the festival is the adventurous race to the top of one of the world’s highest sand hills.
Visitors and participants attending the festival and races are provided with all facilities and services to make camping and accommodations in the Moreeb Dune a unique and extraordinary experience by the organisers.
