The programme provided leadership training to 50 PureHealth employees at Park Hyatt Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi. The initiative is part of PureHealth’s commitment to enhancing the skills of UAE National employees and preparing them to lead the healthcare sector.

Prioritizing Diversity and Inclusivity

PureHealth has a strong commitment to enhancing diversity and inclusivity within the PureHealth Group. The Emirati Development Centre will prioritize the upskilling of UAE National employees. This initiative exemplifies PureHealth’s dedication to realizing Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030, with a specific focus on fostering a highly skilled workforce comprising Emirati Nationals in the country.

Empowering the Emirati Workforce

The Emirati Development Centre is part of PureHealth’s long-term commitment to develop 1,000 future Emirati leaders within the next five years. This dedicated programme aims to give them a focused learning and development programme tailored to every individual to ensure their growth is maximized and they reach new heights by unlocking their potential.

Recognizing Graduates

Shaista Asif, PureHealth’s Group Chief Operating Officer, congratulated and welcomed the 50 graduates in an introductory address. This was followed by a word from Rashid Al Qubaisi, Chief Corporate Officer of PureHealth, on the aspirations of the center for future participants. His Excellency Matar Saeed Rashed Al Nuaimi, Director General, Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre handed over the Certificates to the graduates.

Commitment to Empowering Emirati Talents

Shaista Asif, the Group COO of PureHealth, stated that their Emirati Development Centre reflects their commitment to empower Emirati talents, particularly women. They have proactively invested in the growth and professional advancement of the current graduates, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to lead the healthcare sector in the future.

Adopting Principles of The Development Edge

PureHealth’s Emirati Development Centre has adopted the principles of The Development Edge (TDE), created by notable Harvard faculties Dr. Robert Kegan and Dr. Lisa Lahey. They employ their developmental sprint model to foster talent, drive revenues, rise to new challenges and accelerate professional growth.

Second Cohort and Future Plans

After selecting 50 Emirati professionals from over 200 applications, PureHealth will commence its second cohort of the Emirati Development Centre by August 2023, with plans to target over 130 individuals. Additionally, over 75% of the initial cohort’s graduates were female. PureHealth has made a commitment to improve lifespans and health spans in the UAE and beyond by transforming the healthcare sector.
