Sheikh Hamdan made the remarks during the opening of the AED255.7 million Ghayathi-Ruwais road E15 in the Al Dafra region, a key part of the UAE’s integrated transport infrastructure. It was developed by Aldar Properties in partnership with Integrated Transport Centre.
He added that sustainable development efforts in the emirate of Abu Dhabi have spread to all its regions, including Al Dafra, where relentless efforts are being made to attract more investment to achieve the desired sustainable economic growth.

At the beginning of the opening, His Holiness Sheikh Hamdan gave an explanation of the stages of completion of the road and then toured the road that connects the city of Gayati with Ruwais and the new industrial area of Gayati with the E15 highway which is also connected to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Road International E11. The road, which has three lanes in each direction, includes several bridges and intersections to facilitate traffic and improve road safety.
