Grande Teapot: Ways to Cold Brew Tea

Cold brewing tea is a simple yet refined ritual and choosing the right tool can elevate the experience entirely. With guidance from AVANTCHA, this approach highlights how loose-leaf teas can shine when prepared slowly in cold water, drawing out complexity without the bitterness often associated with hot infusions.

Start by adding 6g of loose-leaf tea to 1 liter of cold water and placing it in the fridge for six hours. This applies to most tea types including white, yellow, green, oolong, and black teas. Once the infusion reaches your preferred strength, remove the tea leaves to prevent further extraction. The resulting brew is smooth, aromatic, and best served in wine or whisky glasses to fully appreciate its layered character.

With its clean, functional design, the Grande Teapot complements the cold brew ritual, whether placed at the centre of a summer table or quietly steeping in the fridge door, ready to pour and enjoy.
