The sophisticated ritual at The Drawing Room is inspired by the original afternoon teas hosted by Lady Caroline Astor, the founder of the first St. Regis hotel in New York. Mrs Astor started hosting afternoon teas in 1904 as way of introducing herself to New York society and gathering with her closest friends, and since then it has become a signature and defining part of The St. Regis experience.
Chocolate enthusiasts can also indulge in a carefully curated reimagined array of elegant and irresistible handcrafted chocolates expertly prepared by the pastry chefs at The Drawing Room.

Guests are encouraged to keep their cool and maximise every moment of the summer season by indulging in a revitalising beach day at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort.
Ideal for the whole family, guests are welcome to unwind and relax on the white sands of the resort’s pristine private beach, and soak up the summer sun whilst taking a refreshing dip in the azure Arabian Gulf, or in one of the stunning outdoor swimming pools.
Whilst the gentle sounds of the lapping waves help every guest enter a state of pure calm and serenity, little ones are kept well entertained with complimentary access to all the games and activities at the fun-filled Sandcastle kids club, open to children aged two to 10.
