His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has established a law to create the Abu Dhabi Transport Company, which will operate as a subsidiary of the Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs.

he Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs has recently taken a crucial step towards the establishment of the Abu Dhabi Transport Company. They have issued a resolution to form the Board of Directors for the company, which will be chaired by H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Board of Directors will be responsible for overseeing the company’s operations and ensuring that it aligns with the emirate’s objectives. The other board members include Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Muna Ali Al Dhaheri, Shadi Khalid Malak, Saeed Rashid Al Zaabi, Talal Shafiq Al Dhiyebi, and Ahmed Al Musawa Al Hashemi.

This group of experts will bring diverse perspectives and valuable experience to the company’s leadership team. Their collective knowledge will help ensure the success of the Abu Dhabi Transport Company in developing and implementing sustainable transport solutions that meet the needs of citizens and residents across the emirate.

The Abu Dhabi Transport Company will be responsible for implementing, operating, and developing transport systems in both urban and rural areas throughout the emirate. It will also oversee any other activities related to its mandate. The company will focus on developing rail systems and related services and operations and will offer integrated transport services, such as vehicle and bus rentals.

To achieve its goals, the Abu Dhabi Transport Company will collaborate with relevant government entities in Abu Dhabi.
