Bereve is an independent House of Haute Horlogerie located in Chiasso, Switzerland, which adopts all the values of traditional Swiss watchmaking.
The handcrafting of dials and manufacture of components revel the high quality of its 100% Swiss Made timepieces.
Bereve bestows the art of the ancient with the unique decorative skill of Grand Feu techniques including Champlevé, Cloisonné, Plique a Jour and Miniature. Bereve combines different techniques, specifically micro-mosaic in spun enamel, with the most precious and unique decorative stones and minerals in the world to create the most distinctive, artisan timepieces offered to the market.
More than 50 years’ knowledge and experience have enabled the company to enhance its creativity and go beyond the limits of common techniques.
The Grand Feu enamel style is a distinctive signature of the brand and, due to its complexity, requires expertise as well as more than 200 hours of work.
Hand drawings will be converted into technical blueprints before proceeding with the first prototype, sampling and quality tests. Temperatures between 730 and 900 °C (1340 and 1652 °F) are required to achieve fine enamel and, as these temperatures are very close to the melting point of fine silver and 24 carat gold, the base materials used for the dial, the whole process requires considerable skill and precision.
Bereve also offers the opportunity for customers to personalise their own timepiece. Customers can choose a design, material and artistic techniques or even provide a design that we will produce. Bereve will make a customer`s wish a reality.
We are committed to connecting art with horology and ancient techniques with state-of-the-art-technologies. As a traditional Swiss House and following a long-time partnership with the most prestigious Swiss movement manufacturer, BEREVE uses a calibre based on the Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier movement.
In recognition of the fine craftsmanship and precision that is bestowed in the brand, Bereve offers a 3 years Worldwide warranty for all its Swiss Made timepieces.
Bereve carries out a customization service in order to make a unique, limited edition product according to our customer’s wishes.
Customization consists in different steps that enable the customer to choose materials, design and artistic techniques applicable to the production of their own timepiece.
Customers can even draw their own timepiece!
