Luxury hotel group, Minor Hotels, is set to open a new 22-key resort in Ghantoot, UAE. The Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi Retreat will offer sea views, a private beach, and bespoke spa treatments in beachside cabanas. The resort is due to launch in Q4 2023 and will be a 25-minute drive from Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport and a 35-minute drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Spacious Accommodations and Bespoke Spa Treatments
The low-lying white buildings of Anantara Santorini reflect the buildings of its namesake island and house a collection of accommodations with spacious interiors, terraces, and sea views. Bespoke spa treatments can be enjoyed in private beachside cabanas, and 24-hour butler service will also be available.
Culinary Experiences and Location
The culinary experiences at Anantara Santorini will include a restaurant dedicated to the heritage of the region, an ocean-side restaurant serving delicacies from Greece, and a bar offering a range of beverages. The resort is located in Ghantoot, an enclave of coast approximately halfway between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, making it easily accessible from both cities.

Minor Hotels currently has eight Anantara hotels and resorts in the UAE and a total of 11 in the region. The group’s portfolio includes 26 properties across five brands. Projects in the pipeline include properties in the UAE and Qatar, as well as upcoming openings in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
