The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi is organizing the Al Hosn Festival over a period of 10 days, from January 13 to January 22, 2023, in the Al Hosn area.
The annual festival, which celebrates Abu Dhabi’s heritage, history and vibrant culture, witnesses a rich schedule of events to be held in the buildings of the historic Al Hosn area and its outdoor squares, which highlight the emirate’s cultural heritage and traditional crafts, and showcase them alongside creative works and contemporary artistic experiences.
This year’s festival’s agenda includes a diverse program of activities that meet the aspirations of visitors of all ages, including a series of performance, heritage and artwork shows, handicraft and design exhibitions, creative workshops, shopping and culinary arts experiences.

The Al-Hosn area is considered the main cultural pillar for the launch of the UAE capital, as it includes three interconnected parts, including the Al-Hosn Palace, the Cultural Complex, and the House of Artisans. The region embodies a symbol of pride in the cultural heritage of the UAE, and its importance is represented in combining the elements of ancient history, society and authentic traditions, and the aspirations of the city that looks towards the future.
