A young boy’s dream of flying over the Capital finally came true.

Police have released a heart-warming video capturing the moment that Khaled’s wish was fulfilled.

The initiative of spreading happiness among residents was carried out in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Police and Zayed Higher Organisation.

Dressed in a pilot’s uniform, Khaled was then driven to Al Bateen Executive Airport where he met with a number of pilots from the police’s air wing team.

Khaled then boarded a helicopter, which was specifically brought in for him, as he enthusiastically marvelled at the city’s landmarks down below.

At the end of the video, Abu Dhabi Police said they were proud to fulfil Khaled’s wish and added that “not every wish remains a dream.”
