Decent life

And under the directives of His Highness, the President of the State, may God protect him, and during the year 2022, 3 packages of housing benefits were disbursed to the citizens of Abu Dhabi, which included the disbursement of housing loans and the exemption of retirees and deceased families from paying housing loan dues, as 4,347 male and female citizens benefited from them, which strengthened social security and stability and raised living standards. And a decent life for them, and the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, in cooperation with strategic partners in the emirate, is implementing new housing projects, in an effort to achieve family stability for citizens, by covering their needs for housing with high standards, within modern urban communities.

These projects fall within the packages of the Abu Dhabi Development Accelerators Program “Tomorrow 21”, which was previously launched based on the directives of His Highness the President of the State, may God protect him, to advance development in the emirate and enhance the happiness of citizens. The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority is keen to implement His Highness’s orders to develop a housing system. Modern, sustainable, and building a cohesive society that enjoys the elements of a decent life, within a safe, stable environment that stimulates work and production, while taking into account the loan distribution mechanism that the Authority follows to link with infrastructure projects and service facilities, with the aim of building integrated residential communities in all regions of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It guarantees a decent life for the members of society, by providing adequate housing.

Among the citizens’ housing projects expected to be completed is the “North Bani Yas” project, which includes in its first phase 1,365 homes, and is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2024. Abu Dhabi’s plan to provide adequate housing, and the North Bani Yas residential project is one of the large housing projects for citizens, and the project conforms to the standards of the Residential Communities Guide issued by the “Authority”.

The Al Wathba project includes 347 residences, and the construction area is 510 square meters. The authority began cooperating with its concerned partners to implement the project in August 2021, and it is expected to be completed by the end of 2023. The residential cataract project in Al Ain is also expected to be delivered by the end of this year, and it aims to provide free Integrated Emirati, meeting the needs of the Emirati family according to the best standards in design and implementation.

Abu Dhabi Housing has completed residential communities at a cost of more than 7.9 billion dirhams, as part of the integrated Emirati neighborhood initiative, as it is characterized by designs that take into account the national identity and provide privacy, in addition to large areas that suit the nature of the Emirati family in the future, and it comes within the efforts of the authority
