The Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office has made available the grievance service of administrative sanctions for violating precautionary measures to reduce the spread of the new coronavirus “Coved 19”, through its website www.pp.gov.ae and its intelligent application, within a sophisticated penal system that contributes to the preservation of the security of society and individual rights.
It indicated that it provides the service to the violator or his agent by submitting the application within 15 days of notifying him of the violation, pointing out that the grievance will be answered either by acceptance or rejection of the complaint.
The steps to complain about the violation include: access to the public prosecutor’s website or smart application, the mobilization of the complainant’s personal data, the details and location of the violation, and then the attached documents required, namely the identity of the complainant, whether id or passport, a copy of the violation, if any, and the documents supporting the complaint.
Abu Dhabi Police advised individuals with a transfer permit to keep papers proving that they went to the hospital, pharmacy, supermarket or associations, and to keep payment and purchase invoices, as proof and evidence to provide when objecting to violations.
It is worth mentioning that the Public Prosecutor’s Office has increased the number of irregularities in reducing the spread of the CORONA virus, while introducing other clauses within the schedule of violations and administrative sanctions issued by the Attorney General of the State No. 38 for 2020 and amended by Resolution 58 of 2020 to apply the list of violations and sanctions for reducing the spread of the virus “Covid 19”, in order to deter those who are not interested in the precautionary and preventive measures in the country.
The amount of the violation of non-wearing muzzles or taking into account distances was raised to 3,000 dirhams instead of 1,000 dirhams, the violation of leaving homes without necessity or non-work or for the purchase of basic necessities to 3,000 dirhams instead of 2,000 dirhams, and the violation of exceeding the number of passengers allowed in a single car more than three to 3,000 dirhams instead of 1,000 dirhams.
